I have caught myself quite a number of times during the singing of a hymn asking the question, “Do we really mean what we are singing???
If the hymn is meant to augment the readings then we should mean what we sing.
How many of you feel the same way???
If St. Augustine said, “He who sings worships twice” then maybe we need to get more serious….
Just a thought….

I love to sing hymns and mean every word that is sung, and also listened to so, why would someone not understand the words that they sing?
